circa 1780, impressed Turner,
of cylindrical form with strap handle, sprigged with figures at rest outside a tavern, standing beneath a shade tree suspending the tavern sign, a servant wench holding a bottle, one leaning against a tree holding the reins of his horse, the animal browsing, the horizontally ribbed rim band and strap handle covered in a brown glaze
