A Gourd-Form Earthenware Wine Pot
Meiji period (late 19th century),
painted in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear crackled glaze with cherry blossoms and attributes of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune floating in a stream, the neck decorated with chrysanthemum florets above a ring of leaves, the spout with a panel of conjoined chrysanthemums and fitted with a silver band
4 7/8in. (12.4cm.) high
