A Pair of George III Silver Entrée Dishes on Associated Stands
Mark of W.H., London, 1773
of octagonal gadroon mount form, the bases with twist side handles, each of the rising covers with flat tops applied with an oval twist handle, the bases and covers engraved with an armorial/crest, one of the associated stands marked to the burners to match the above, the other for London, 1890, mark of WK, the dish overall (including handles) 33.7cm (13¼in), height overall (including stand) 22cm (8 5/8in), 100oz.
