A beautiful combination cut glass fruit bowl and flower vase on a silver plated center piece. The base is made up from three cherubs, which are modeled after the cherubs which were a part of the R.M.S. Titanic's grand staircase. Each cherub is holding the initials 'AP' which are the initials from the manufacture. The center of the vase is in an Edwardian style and supports the cut glass vase at the top. The fruit bowl is fitted to the center, and is removeable. Just below the vase is engraved with the White Star Line house flag.
24 x 12¼ in. (61 x 31.2 cm.) height x diameter.

Lot Essay

Accompanying this lot is a letter from the maker stating that this piece was made for the White Star Line, ca. 1911 and they have restored it.
