THREE JACOBEAN WALNUT OPEN ARMCHAIRS,
circa 1690, with replacements,
each caned back flanked by detached turned columns above a caned seat flanked by downscrolled arms and supported on block-and-turned legs joined by a central stretcher, each with variations to the carving of the back, arms and front stretcher centered by an eagle, shell and acanthus scroll respectively, the shell-carved chair stamped TN to the back and with a replaced central stretcher, the eagle chair with right rear foot, right left leg and left stretcher replaced in oak and with later casters (3)
