A GEORGE II MAHOGANY BOOKCASE
Circa 1740
Designed with a dentilled broken pediment above a pair of geometrically glazed doors enclosing shelves, the lower section containing a frieze drawer fitted with a writing slide above a sliding ratcheted adjustable mirror and various compartments supported on pull out lopers above three graduated long drawers and canted blind fret carved corners and on bracket feet
