Lot Essay

The village of Grasmere on the shore of Lake Grasmere in the heart of the Lake District was a favourite place with the Lakeland Poets, such as William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Wordsworth wrote one of the first guides to the Lake District.
