A Victorian needlwork cushion, worked in coloured wools with beadwork detail with a central bouquet of roses and gentians surrounded by cones and leaves against an alternating red and blue ground--19¾in. (50cm.) square; a needlework cushion worked in silks and wools with roses amidst undulating blue ribbons against a golden yellow ground, with later backing of teal silk moirée--18 x 19in. (46 x 48cm.); a needlework bolster worked large-scale flowers and foliate scrolls--9 x 18in. (23 x 46cm.); and a further cushion worked with garlands of pink and blue flowers against a burgundy ground, all made up recently from 19th century embroideries
