A PAIR OF IRISH GEORGE III GILTWOOD MIRRORS
Third quarter 18th century
Each with a rectangular plate in an architectural and acanthus-carved mirrored frame, with pierced C-scroll and rockwork cresting, the apron centred by a shell, one with British Antique Dealers Association label on the reverse and inscribed in chalk 'SHEPHERD', the other with remains of chalk inscription 'Sheph...'

Bought in the 1920's by the father of the present owner.
