A WILLIAM IV MAHOGANY LIBRARY TABLE
Second quarter 19th century
The rectangular moulded top with gilt-tooled green leather-lined writing-surface above three panelled frieze drawers to each side, on reeded tapering legs and tapering feet, on brass caps and castors, the handles probably replaced, three locks stamped 'W R' below a crown 'WARRENTED SECURE PATENT LOCK'
31 in. (79 cm.) high; 72½ in. (184 cm.) wide; 48 in. (122 cm.) deep

Probably supplied to Richard, 2nd Marquess of Westminster (1795-1869), Eaton Hall, Cheshire, and by descent.
