Lot Essay

Bush Onion is one of the artist's dreamings which tells the story of two women, Nakamarra and Napaurrula who went out to collect bush onions. The cone shaped drawings represent bush onions. The horse shoe shapes represent the women. The long and short straight lines represent the roots of the bush onions spreading underground.
