The gilt dial cast with scrolling foliage and flower-heads, with enamel cartouche-shaped Roman chapters, the twin-barrel movement with anchor escapement and later outside countwheel strike on bell, the movement inscribed Langlois a Paris, later anchor escapement and dial, on a conforming bracket, minor losses to the tortoiseshell and brass inlay
