The sides with pierced wood sound frets, the dial with recessed silvered plaque inscribed Alling Walker/London to the matted centre and date aperture, with Roman and Arabic silvered chapter ring, pierced black-painted hands, rolling moonphase in the arch, the twin barrel movement with anchor escapement, Brocot pendulum and outside countwheel strike on bell
