The hood with canted brass-capped columns flanking the breakarch door, later foliate pierced wood blind frets beneath the caddytop surmounted by giltwood figural finials, the dial signed on silvered plaque Theunes Haakma Leeuwarden in the matted centre with seconds ring, date and day of the week aperture, silvered chapter ring, blued steel hands, foliate and C-scroll spandrels, an engraved scene in the arch flanking a rolling moon, the four pillar movement with anchor escapement and Dutch rack strike on two bells, trip repeat, lacking alarm
