The rectangular back with a griffin carved waved toprail above an arched panel inlaid with eared concentric strapwork lozenges, the downswept arms on ring-turned supports above the hinged plank seat, the front panel below the seat carved with reciprocal foliate motifs, on square legs, one leg partially replaced
