AN UNUSUAL MOTTLED GREENISH-GREY JADE SHALLOW BOWL
Ming dynasty (1368-1644)
The rounded, inward-curving sides finely carved in relief with a leafy foliate meander, repeated as five further blossoming leafy stems carved on the raised center of the interior, and again as a single large stem on the countersunk base, the softly polished, semi-translucent stone of greenish-grey color with blackish inclusions
