Lot Essay

In 1956 Kiyoshi Saito came to the United States upon the invitation of the State Department and the Asia Foundation. On February 24th, when he visited Edwin and Marjorie Grabhorn in their San Francisco home, he re-signed and dated this print (and lot 107) to commemorate the occasion.
