Mulberry paper treated with persimmon juice and smoke, thrust-cut and punch, drill or chisel-carved in various designs including bamboo leaves on branches against a lattice background, pine boughs floating on stripes, bamboo leaf clusters on budding branches, plovers flying over blossoms, stylized waves, zig zags, simulated wood grain, some with itoire (silk web reinforcement) or gauze reinforcement--generally good condition, some with losses, breaks, repairs, ink residue
