Mulberry paper treated with persimmon juice and smoke, thrust-cut and punch, drill or chisel-carved in various designs including scrolling branches and blossoms, fans, battledores and balls, abstract ikat and geometric motifs, some with itoire (silk web reinforcement) or gauze reinforcement--generally good condition, some with losses, breaks, repairs, ink residue
