A Chinese cast gilt-bronze relief decorated presentation bell, 18th Century
the pierced upright handle dividing the flat top surface decorated with phoenix and stylised cranes among scattered cloud scrolls, above a continuous panel with a phoenix and five-claw mythical beast among scattered foliate sprays and flames, below this are two side panels each with a wrything five-clawed dragon among cloud scrolls, dividing shaped panels with stud, leaf and flame decoration centred by double lotus throne and scrolling flame upright panels, all above a further continuous wide panel with scrolling leaf and flame motifs -- 11in. (28cm.) high.
