Lot Essay

According to the accompanying documentation, this autograph was originally obtained by the manager of the Eastgate Hotel in Lincoln where Hendrix stayed in April, 1967 during the Experience's tour of the UK. The sketch originally came from Bob Levine and was obtained at Sotheby's, New York, June 1991, part lot 581 [although the document erroneously states July 1991, lot 561].
