A piece of headed notepaper from the Eastgate Hotel, Lincoln, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint pen To Pamela stay sweet Jimi Hendrix -- 2¾x5¼in. (9.5x13.3cm.), in common mount with a sketch by Hendrix on lined paper in black ballpoint pen of three heads -- 12x7½in. (30.5x19cm.) mounted with a colour machine-print photograph of subject on stage -- 9½x7½in. (24x19cm.), overall measurements -- 17½x20¼in. Lot Essay

According to the accompanying documentation, this autograph was originally obtained by the manager of the Eastgate Hotel in Lincoln where Hendrix stayed in April, 1967 during the Experience's tour of the UK. The sketch originally came from Bob Levine and was obtained at Sotheby's, New York, June 1991, part lot 581 [although the document erroneously states July 1991, lot 561].
