Six ASSOCIATED-REDIFFUSION LIMITED printed contracts with typescript details, various dates 21st August, 1963 - 24th June, 1964, each for THE ROLLING STONES to perform on the television programme Ready, Steady, Go, four of the contracts stipulating a £150 Joint Fee; the other two a £42.10.0d. Joint Fee -- one of these for a performance at the Montreux Festival, 21st April, 1964; five of the contracts signed and one initialled on verso by an Associated Rediffusion Contract Officer (6)

The Stones' careers became frenetically busy between the middle of July until the June, 1964 as the contracts in this lot and the following show. In the first three months of this period they played nearly 50 gigs in London and during August and September, 1963 they performed live ..on all by seven days. Not that these were days off: on those dates, they did three TV shows, recorded on another day, and did interviews and a photo shoot on the fifth day..
