Handcoloured twin-hemisphere world map, north and south pole projections, allegorical tableaux representing the four seasons, the elements and signs of the zodiac in the borders, 460 x 547mm., framed and glazed. First state. Shirley 451: "... De Wit's map is one of the most attractive of its time."
