Milet-Mureau, Paris: de l' Imprimerie de la République, 1797.] Atlas Volume. 2° (566 x 430mm.). Engraved allegorical title, large folding world map and 68 plates and maps, some double-page. (Some very light mainly marginal spotting, some very minor worming mainly at inner margins.) Contemporary half calf (spine worn, joints broken, extremities heavily rubbed, scuffed and lightly stained, upper cover loose). Provenance: Frances Mary Richardson Currer and James Edge-Partington (armorial bookplates). FIRST EDITION. Brunet III, 828; Ferguson 251; Sabin 38960.
