A GROUP OF ANTIQUE JEWELRY
Comprising a pendant brooch, designed as an opal and half-pearl padlock suspending half-pearl key and heart pendants, the reverse set with a glass encasement, mounted in gold, (illustrated), circa 1840, in a Harvey & Gore red leather retailer's case; a gold chain, designed as cylindrical interlaced links to the barrel clasp with wirework florets, 19th century, 17¾ ins.; a gold repoussé heart locket pendant, set with the message "Regard" in gemstones, to the circular-cut kunzite flowerhead, the reverse set with a glass encasement, surrounded by engraved gold foliate detail, circa 1840; an openwork gold bar link chain, with interlaced engraved and polished gold link intersections, joined to the barrel clasp, enhanced by cabochon turquoise flowerheads, to the bicolored barrel slide of similar design, accented by wirework terminals, 19th century, 16½ ins.; and a brooch, designed as a circular gold plaque, with gold wirework trim, to the pavé-set turquoise inner ring and domed center, the reverse set with a glass encasement, (with concealed suspension hoop), circa 1870 (5)
