A GROUP OF ANTIQUE HAT PINS AND STICK PINS
Comprising seven hat pins: one set with a hinged red guilloché enamel insect, enhanced by an old European-cut diamond, (illustrated), circa 1895, with jeweler's mark for A.J. Hedges and Co.; one terminating in a gold openwork terminal, set with two cabochon turquoise and a pearl, circa 1890; one terminating in a citrine briolette, intersected by a rock crystal rondelle, enhanced by a seed pearl, circa 1890; one terminating in a bloodstone boule, enhanced by cabochon and single-cut ruby accents and gold wirework trim, mounted in 18k gold, (illustrated), circa 1890, with French assay mark and maker's mark; one designed as a gold sword, with an old mine and rose-cut diamond handle, further enhanced by a cabochon emerald and a circular-cut garnet, mounted in silver and gold, circa 1870; a jabot pin, set with elongated coral bead terminals, within a rose and old European-cut diamond surmount, mounted in platinum, circa 1910; and three stick pins: one terminating in a carved jade bird; and one terminating in a circular-cut brown zircon, flanked by four old European-cut diamonds, circa 1870; one terminating in a chased gold claw, clenching a cabochon garnet, centering upon an old mine-cut diamond, (illustrated), circa 1880 (9)
