Alexandra Rosier, a graduate of the Bijouterie, Joaillerie, Orfévrerie (B.J.O.) in Paris, trained at the prestigious houses of Cartier and Graff. She recently launched her own contemporary collection entitled Djaya and opened a boutique in Paris near the Place Vendôme. Inspired by her Indian heritage and love of color, the bold designs are a combination of the Mughal style and Parisian Chic.

The carved wood hoop, centering upon twin carved emerald flowers, each with articulated briolette-cut diamond pistils, with circular-cut diamond trim, to the circular-cut diamond vine and carved emerald leaf shoulders, mounted in 18k gold, size 6¾, with French assay marks and maker's marks, in a Djaya green leather fitted case
