Lots 240 and 241 were specially commissioned. Chester Jones was for a number of years managing director and partner at Colefax and Fowler, joining in 1969. He became heavily involved in restoration and redecoration of 18th and 19th Century houses. He currently works independently running a design company. He has written a number of publications to include Colefax and Fowler: The Best in Interior Decoration, Bullfinch Press, November 1989
