A pair of façon de Venise vases
Late 17th/early 18th Century
Of baluster form, the flared necks each with vermicular collar, the shoulders applied with trails, the lower parts moulded with gadroons, each applied with elaborate opposing scroll handles with pincered decoration, supported on mereses, hollow knopped stems and conical feet with folded rims (one with internal crack to neck, slight losses to pincered decoration)
