Three 'Jacobite' drinking-glasses
The first two 18th Century with later engraving; the third, 20th Century
Comprising: an airtwist goblet, the ogee bowl engraved with a thistle issuing from a thorny stem with a rose and bud, on a plain stem filled with spiral threads and conical foot, 6¾ in. (17.2 cm.) high; a Low Countries opaque-twist wine-glass, the bell-bowl engraved with a stylised flower and foliage and a moth in flight, 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high; and an airtwist goblet, the generous funnel bowl engraved with a rose, a half-opened rose and a bud all issuing from a leafy, thorny stem and with an oak spray with two acorns and three leaves, the stem filled with spiral threads and on a conical foot, 8 in. (20.3 cm.) high (3)
