A German parcel-gilt beaker
Apparently unmarked, Germany, circa 1600, also struck with later French import mark of 1893-1970
On three cherub head feet, the circular base decorated with foliage, short stem with beaded band, plain body, the upper section with applied silver-gilt band and band above engraved with C-scrolls, foliage, two cartouches with portraits and a cartouche with monogram HSJSJ
