On a circular domed silver-gilt base cast with scrolls and ovals, silver stem shaped as a man sitting on his knees playing a flute and a man sitting on his knees reaching out to a woman torso, a man torso at her back, supporting the circular bowl with silver-gilt border decorated with an outer band of C-scrolls and foliage, inner band of garlands enclosing an earlier silver circular plaque representing the three wise man offering presents to the Child, the Child sitting on the lap of Virgin Mary
