Mark of Esaie Antoine de Bourdeaux, Amsterdam, 1752-1793
Rectangular, fish skin over wooden boards, the front an back cover with central shaped oval plaque depicting an East Indiaman with V.O.C. flag enclosed by scroll and shells, two silver clasps with monogram V.O.C.D. (Delft) and a silver stylus connecting the clasp and functioning as a catch, marked on mounts
134 x 80 mm.
