A Dutch burr-walnut cabinet
Circa 1740-1750
The arched moulded cornice centred by a foliate cresting above a pair of panelled doors with rockwork clasps, enclosing a plain interior with three shelves and five drawers, above two short and two long graduated moulded drawers, flanked to either side by a hinged scrolling angle each enclosing four drawers, the bold waved apron centred by a rockwork ornament, on hairy claw-and-ball feet, the sides with restored shrinkage cracks
