Painted in vivid enamels with peony issuing beside gnarled branches of prunus, surrounded in the well by a pink and green trellis-pattern band reserved with floral cartouches and gilt flowerheads, the everted rim with four clusters of peony, plum blossom, chrysanthemum and bamboo
