Of oval form with sloping rim, the interior with a central inlaid medallion bounded by arabesques terminating in monsters' heads containing densely arranged figural scenes, a band of similar figural scenes around the sides including hunting, genre and mythical scenes, outer band of meandering vine, interlaced floral arcade around the rim, filled holes for handle fixings at each end
