The shaded indigo field with a central serrated open lozenge medallion containing a brick-red cusped floral medallion issuing a variety of palmettes, cusped leaves, floral cartouches and palmette pendants, the serrated open spandrels similar, in a shaded indigo border of serrated palmettes and angular floral and leafy vine between brick-red, light blue and golden yellow floral vine stripes, areas of localised wear, fireplace cuts, splits along outer stripes, scattered small repairs
