The plain golden yellow field around a burgundy lozenge medallion containing four bold palmettes and delicate floral tendrils, a string of palmettes above and below, the ivory spandrels containing angular floral vine, in a burgundy palmette and angular vine border between reciprocal skittle-pattern stripes, plain golden yellow outer stripe, scattered areas of repiling particularly in the corroded burgundy, localised wear mainly in the border, small split in central medallion, outer stripe missing at both ends
