The rust-red field with a mottled design of palmettes, flowerheads and linked floral sprays around a central column of charcoal-grey and sandy yellow cusped medallions with animals, birds and human figures each with a concentric lozenge centrepiece, in an indigo turtle-palmette and flowering vine border between lemon-yellow and light blue floral stripes, plain rust-red outer stripe, localised areas of wear, minor touches of tinting, selvages partially rebound
