Of "Ardebil" design", the wine-red field with dense scrolling tendrils issuing palmettes and floral sprays around a cusped indigo roundel with a dusty red centre with similar scrolling tendrils and cloudbands, issuing radiating indigo and ivory palmettes with a hanging mosque lamp pendant above and below, the indigo cusped spandrels with similar radiating palmettes, in an indigo border of scrolling leafy vine around alternating wine-red and pale blue cartouche panels between ivory and rust-red cloudband and floral meander stripes, broad silk selvage on all four sides, good pile throughout, light stain at one end of central field
