marked Fabergé and with the workmaster's mark of Julius Rappoport, St. Petersburg, circa 1890
Of rectangular form, the gilt handle modelled as a stylized duck's head with cabochon red stone eyes, with similarly set gilt band extending around the rim and vertical prow, set in the base with a rouble dated 1724, marked under base
