In antique taste; shaped circular on a square base with interlace border, with lobed lower body, the upper body with relief border of lions, scrolling foliage and winged bearers of fruit, with fluted and beaded handles, the cover cast with acanthus, lotus and palmettes with acanthus bud finial, with detachable liner, the base engraved with a crest, marked on cover, finial, liner, and under base, base stamped Rundell Bridge et Rundell Aurifices Regis Londini, with later French control marks
