Lot Essay

Although undated, this machine is one of the 1911 pattern, with a circular gilt transfer on the side. The use of a grained, non- Morning-Glory horn indicates that it was originally sold outside the UK market, although the English badging suggests a Hayes rather than a Hanover origin.
