the papier-mâché face painted with heart, club, diamond and spade symbols, with grey mohair wig and articulated tongue, sitting cross legged on fretwork stool, the going-barrel movement in the base playing two airs and causing the figure to look from side to side and raise his head, strum the guitar with his right hand, raise his right leg and then both legs together, bending from the waist, lowering his head and sticking out his tongue, in original green satin brocade costume and red bolero jacket trimmed with lace and sequins -- 23in. (58cm.) high, with LB key, (satin fraying on trousers and jacket sleeves)
