the hinged cover mounted with a large oval cut citrine, supported by six kilted figures, the sides decorated with figures within gothic niches, interspersed with thistles and leafage, the point of the horn applied with a chased covering of scrolls and masks, terminating in a thistle form mounted with a cut citrine, with a metal chain - 37cm. (14½in.) long.
