1735-1740, blue crossed swords mark
Of flattened quatrefoil bombé form, painted in bright colors with Chinoiserie figures at various pursuits positioned between flowering plants, the box with pairs of figures, the cover with single figures, each reserved on the powdered purple ground within quatrefoil panels edged with gilt bands, both box and cover rims left in the white but edged against the purple ground with a gilt band
