Circa 1810
The rectangular back carved with flower-filled arabesques and trailing flowerheads with stylized lotus, the padded back, arms and seat covered in blue and gold close-nailed horsehair, the fluted columnar arms mounted at the base with Medusa masks, above a stylized laurel-carved seatrail, on leaf-tip-headed fluted legs ending in turned feet, regilt and with traces of earlier gilding
