Circa 1740, each stamped L. CRESSON
Of generous proportions, each rectangular cartouche-form back headed by a floral clasp, above outscrolled padded arms, the back, arms and seat covered in close-nailed rust velvet with a loose cushion seat, above a waved floral-carved seatrail, on floral-headed cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet (2)

Minor marks and scratches, generally what is expected due to age and use. One chip to scroll of one foot. Right front leg to one with an old repaired crack visible from inside. Structurally sound. Later blocks beneath seat. Upholstery worn.
