A SET OF FOUR ITALIAN GILTWOOD FAUTEUILS
Circa 1730, possibly Rome
Each with arched back, arms and bowed seat with squab-cushion covered in striped white silk, the scrolled arms and supports with strap-work, above the waved seat-rails with cartouches and scallop-shells on cabriole legs joined by a waved C-shaped stretcher with central cartouche and terminating in scroll feet, regilt and with traces of an earlier gilding, minor differences to carving (4)
