The circular grey-veined white marble tops above a frieze of scrolling rinceaux and paterae on legs of rams' heads and hoofs with a central spiraling serpent on a tripartite base, bearing a 19th century paper labels M/3635 and M3426 and the underside of the base stenciled 5438
